Dave,

You typically wouldn't use squeeze pages unless you're selling an information product. Generally, when promoting tangible products in this way, you want to presell the visitor and send them directly to the merchant. Your landing page would be a few short paragraphs of text giving the benefits of the product, and possibly a testimonial. Add some graphic elements and call to actions and send them to the merchant's page where they can purchase the product. If the merchant has a coupon available (which many do) then you should give them the coupon code. At this point, you don't know what type of traffic volume your keywords will generate so don't spend too much time optimizing the landing page. Just get it up there and measure conversion rates. You can optimize it later.

Good info Gary.

But you may want to expand on the landing page step. Alot of readers may not know what you're talking about. What kind of landing page. What content should be on it? Should it follow a typical "squeeze page" format (for example)?

Thanks,
Dave
